‘Summer Dreams’

Anna is cousins with one of our fave models Natalie so we were honoured when she asked us to capture her maternity images for her. She said she was up for absolutely anything and whenever someone says that to me I’m always inclined to take them to my home where I know I can provide an adventure for them and an experience they wont forget… And I’ll admit any chance for me to dig my toes in the sand is enough for me.

So I grabbed my trusty stead (hahaha sorry Daniel :p) and we headed down the coast to Burleigh Hill and walked around the headland until we found a spot we could walk down the rocks. Anna was quite heavily pregnant so slowly was defs the word I would use lol.

Daniel kept Annas make up and hair styling very simple and natural for this shoot and I styled her in very basic tones using pieces to accentuate her bump. She wasnt afraid to get into the water and play with the waves and we laughed as she said she had taken her bub for her first swim. I found it very appropriate when I heard Anna had named her daughter ‘Summer’ 🙂
